The MJC Mosaïque – Pompey Social Centre plays an active role in local life by organising workshops, activities and events throughout the year that promote social cohesion and intergenerational links.

Membership of MJC Mosaïque Centre Social is compulsory
Led by : Cynthia ZOSSI
A weekly introductory sewing workshop during which participants work on individual projects (clothing, accessories, etc.), group projects decided upon collectively, and also charity projects in support of a cause or the MJC Mosaïque-Centre Social, according to a schedule agreed upon collectively. Led by a professional seamstress, the workshop enables participants to acquire theoretical and technical skills.

Got a project in mind? An idea for an outing or a visit you’d like to share?
The centre provides a space where a group of people can meet regularly, share a coffee, organise outings and activities together, and build lasting social connections.

An international cookery workshop is being held in the kitchen at the FJEP EVS in Champigneulles, where you can discover traditional recipes from around the world, followed by a tasting session.

Provided by the Pompey local council and run by a group of resident members, the Meret Garden is a small green oasis situated in the centre of Pompey, just a stone’s throw from the MJC Mosaïque community centre. More than just a vegetable garden, it is a place for interaction, conviviality, creativity and intergenerational solidarity…
Chaque mardi et jeudi, les membres du collectif s'y retrouve pour faire vivre le projet.
Au programme de ces matinée : entretien des espaces, réalisation de projets, partage, rencontre et bonne humeur !
Chaque mois nous proposons également une rencontre avec les acteurs du projet pour partager les règles de fonctionnement. les projets en cours et à venir, retenus collectivement.
Ce projet reçoit également le soutien de l'Association des Jardiniers Communaux de Pompey, des services techniques de la ville, et de la Communauté de Commune du Bassin de Pompey
Ouvert à toutes et tous – Pas besoin de savoir jardiner pour intégrer le collectif : le jardinage s'apprend par l'échange avec les jardiniers plus expérimentés et des professionnels de l'environnement. Les participants y cultivent ainsi le respect du vivant en prohibant l'usage des pesticides et en encourageant les membres à expérimenter des techniques de paillage, de compost. des plantations d'engrais verts, la culture en lasagne.

Family Mediation Service / Parenting Support and Prevention Centre
Pompey Basin Migrants’ Solidarity Group
The first Tuesday of every month at 17h30.
The collective is made up of women and men from diverse backgrounds who assist, support and guide migrants in the Pompey Basin area. They work collectively to improve the conditions under which people are received by ensuring access to rights, healthcare, education, leisure activities, and legal and social support. Furthermore, the Collective raises awareness amongst the public and engages with public authorities. It organises events bringing together activists, volunteers, those receiving support and, more broadly, all citizens wishing to learn more, exchange views and discuss migration issues.

Info Allaitement 54 is a parents’ association that supports families from pregnancy right through to weaning, whatever your breastfeeding plans may be. A helpline is available 7 days a week from 9.00 am to 10.00 pm, run by volunteer parents to answer your questions and offer support.
The organisation arranges ‘family meet-ups’ where you can get together and share experiences of breastfeeding, weaning and so on. Parent volunteers lead these sessions, answering questions or referring you to the right people if necessary. Partners and babies are welcome.
